This election commitment will fast-track the development of the Sloans Reserve Trail Hub and Northern Hub, which will improve the Loop Trail experience.
The Sloans Reserve Trail Hub will provide a space for learning and reflection on the area’s deep connection to the Noongar people and unique settlement history.
Visitors will be able to explore stories of the past while immersing themselves in the beauty of the natural landscape.
A universal access loop trail will also be developed to ensure visitors of all abilities can enjoy recreating in the outdoors, whether they are walking, using a wheelchair, or pushing a pram.
For thrill-seekers and cycling enthusiasts, the Northern Hub on the northwestern edge of the Kwinana Loop Trail will become a premier mountain biking destination.
The hub will feature a regional-scale pump track, jump lines for all skill levels, a skills loop for riders to develop technique and learn-to-ride track for beginners.
Consistent with past practice, election commitments will be delivered in line with Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles.
