Under an Albanese Labor Government, local Kwinana families will benefit from investment in the fantastic Ngala Child and Parent Centre in Calista.

Ngala Child and Parent Centre in Calista is an important local resource for Kwinana families, supporting nearly 4,500 local parents and over 4,000 children every year.

That is why, an Albanese Labor Government will commit $23,500 to refurbishing the eastern courtyard at the Centre.

The refurbishment will enhance the street presence of the Centre, and include colourful shade sails, outdoor furniture, nature play equipment and plants.

The space will enable families to connect and provide a location for consultations with community partners while creating a safe space for children to play.

Labor is committed to ensuring a better future for working families. Early learning services are vital to supporting local families and providing a quality education for our kids – giving them the best start to life.

Often small community services run on tight budgets, and need and deserve additional support to continue their important work.

Labor is committed to supporting local families in Brand.

If elected, an Albanese Labor Government will continue to invest in local community early learning services.

In addition to this commitment, an Albanese Labor Government will bring down the cost of child care for 96 per cent of families in the system.

Labor’s child care plan will provide immediate relief for tightening household budgets, ensure more children receive the early education they deserve, and better support parents to work the hours they want and need.
