Eligible local not-for-profit community organisations are invited to apply for a grant between $1000 and $5000 from the 2022 Volunteer Grants program.

There is no doubt that volunteer organisations are the backbone of every community. And these past few years have been a more strenuous year than normal for most local groups due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The volunteer grants are designed to help community organisations support the important work of their volunteers.

The grants will help volunteers and volunteer groups to buy small equipment for volunteers by reimbursing volunteer fuel, transport and training costs or support promotional activities.

For more information on eligibility requirements and to make a submission, local groups are encouraged to visit www.madeleineking.com.au and click on Volunteer Grants.

Applicants must submit their interest via the website by no later than 5pm WST Friday 23 September 2022.
